2-Minute Coffee Mocha Mug Cake

๐Ÿงพ Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour

  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder

  • A pinch of salt

  • 2 tablespoons milk (or any non-dairy milk)

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (or melted butter)

  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee or espresso powder

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

  • Optional: a few chocolate chips, or a teaspoon of Nutella


๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿณ Instructions:

  1. Use a large microwave-safe mug (at least 12 oz) to avoid overflow.

  2. Add flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and coffee granules. Stir well with a fork.

  3. Add milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth. Make sure there are no dry spots at the bottom.

  4. Add a few chocolate chips or a spoonful of Nutella if desired.

  5. Microwave on high for 60 to 70 seconds. The cake should rise and be set but still moist.

  6. Let cool for about 30 seconds before digging in!

  7. Top with whipped cream, a scoop of ice cream, or dust with cocoa if you’re feeling fancy.
