Homemade Salsa is better than any restaurant!!


 

🔥 Homemade Salsa Recipe (Restaurant-Style) 😋

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 medium white onion, peeled

  • 2 tablespoons diced jalapeños (adjust for heat)

  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled

  • 1 can (14.5 oz) fire-roasted diced tomatoes with garlic

  • Juice of 1/2 fresh lime

  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro (more to taste)


🥣 Directions:

  1. Prep the Veggies

    • If you like a smokier flavor, lightly char the onion, garlic, and jalapeño in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes until they develop some color.

  2. Blend It Up

    • Add all the ingredients to a food processor or blender:

      • Onion

      • Jalapeños

      • Garlic

      • Fire-roasted tomatoes

      • Lime juice

      • Salt

      • Cilantro

  3. Pulse or Blend

    • Pulse 5–10 times for a chunkier salsa, or blend until smooth for that restaurant-style consistency.

  4. Taste & Adjust

    • Add more lime juice, salt, or jalapeño depending on your flavor and spice preference.

  5. Chill (Optional but Recommended)

    • Refrigerate for 30 minutes to let flavors meld together beautifully.


✅ Tips:

  • Too Spicy? Add more tomatoes or a pinch of sugar to mellow it out.

  • Too Mellow? Add a dash of vinegar or hot sauce for kick.

  • No Fire-Roasted Tomatoes? Use regular canned tomatoes + 1/2 tsp smoked paprika.
